Desogestrel 0.075mg generic tablets are a hormone medication that is used to preclude pregnancy. This medicine contains 2 hormones; estrogen and progestin. It works by not letting the eggs release during a female's menstrual cycle.

Do not take desogestrel 0.075mg tablets if you are allergic to it or any of the ingredients present in it.

If you are diabetic, generic desogestrel 0.075mg may affect your blood sugar levels.

This medicine can cause pigmentation on your face and skin. Avoid going in sunlight as it can worsen the effect. Or, if you are going wear protective clothing and sunscreen.

Vision problems may occur if you are near-sighted and wear contact lenses.

It can take longer to get pregnant after you stop taking birth control pills.

Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant.

Desogestrel 0.075mg for birth control decreases breast milk production and can cause an undesirable effect on your nursing infant.
